The UK Grading System: Percentage-Based Honors
Unlike the system used by our Australian GPA calculator or the US GPA system, the UK university system relies entirely on percentages. Students are awarded an honors degree (e.g., BA Hons, BSc Hons) based on their overall average score across their second and third years. Year 1 (Level 4) is typically a qualifying year and does not count toward the final classification.
